Beginning performances on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, Katie Rose Clarke will return to the role of Glinda in the Broadway company of Wicked. Ms. Clarke last played the role of Glinda on Broadway in 2010.

Ms. Clarke will join a cast which currently includes Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba, Kyle Dean Massey as Fiyero, Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, F. Michael Haynie as Boq, and John Schiappa as Dr. Dillamond. Alli Mauzey, who is currently playing the role of Glinda, will play her final performance on Sunday, April 21st.

Katie Rose Clarke returns to the Gershwin Theatre where she played Glinda for almost two years before playing the role on the national tour. Under the direction of Bartlett Sher, she played the role of Clara Johnson in the Broadway production and first national touring company of The Light in the Piazza, as well as the Long Wharf Theatre's production of Craig Lucas' Prayer for My Enemy as Marianne. Other regional credits include TUTS Houston Anything Goes (Chorus). She holds a BFA from Sam Houston State University.
