Kathy Deitch is 'All Heart' at Canal Room 12/9
Kathy Deitch of Broadway's Wicked, will go it solo December 9 at the Canal Room in Tribeca. Deitch will perform the music of the pop group Heart in an evening simply titled 'All Heart.' Show time is 9 PM.
The singing actress will be backed by musicians Alan Childs, Nicholas D'Amato, Alew Lacamoire, Ric Molina and Greg Skaff. Back-up singers will include Legally Blonde's Asmeret Ghebremichael, Wicked's Katie Webber and Jason Sirois.
Kathy Deitch, an original cast ensemble member of Wicked, has also been seen on Broadway as Urleen in Footloose. She played Crissy in the European tour of Hair and was part of the City Center Encores! production of that musical as well. Deitch was featured as a Chubb Club Dancer on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," and the actress also directed the NY Fringe Festival production of Face Value. Deitch is graduate of Wagner College on Staten Island.
