The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, which features new arrangements of pop stars' music, will present its new spinoff series at Rockwood Music Hall on Sunday, November 20. Broadway Sings Their Own Songs: Volume Two follows the sold out run of Volume One, held at Feinstein's/54 Below this summer. The concert will feature Broadway actors who also write their own music, each singing the original songs they have written, newly orchestrated for a full band.
The singer-songwriters featured will be Matt DeAngelis (Once), Kathryn Gallagher (Spring Awakening), John Gardner(Once), Van Hughes (American Idiot), Aaron LaVigne (Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark), Will Reynolds (Mamma Mia!), and Kacie Sheik (Hair).
Broadway Sings Their Own Songs is produced, directed, and conceived by Broadway Sings creator Corey Mach (Invisible Thread, Wicked) and features arrangements and orchestrations by Joshua Stephen Kartes.
