Due to the overwhelming audience and industry response, THE CONCRETE JUNGLE, music & lyrics by Bobby Cronin, book by Bobby Cronin & Crystal Skillman, with additional material by Brett Teresa, Mark Petty & Angelyn Benson, will be recorded this month in London & New York.

This recording will present highlights of the original new musical THE CONCRETE JUNGLE, which was originally commissioned by Chris Hocking, Director of Musical Theatre at the prestigious Arts Educational School London (President: Andrew Lloyd Webber) for the graduating students of 2012.

A contemporary take on the Cyrano de Bergerac story with a female twist, THE CONCRETE JUNGLE is a romantic comedy of epic proportions, set in The Concrete Jungle Bar & Grill in New York City, where Abby, a nearing 30-year old Ivy League graduate, works while waiting for her writing career and love life to finally start. When Abby receives a phone call at work that changes her life forever, mistaken identity gets in the way as Abby searches deep within herself to expose her true self, flaws and all, to the man she loves.

The International Recording Cast includes: Rebecca Trehearn (Ghost, Love Story) as Abby; Alex Gaumond (We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde); Dean Chisnall (Shrek, Love Never Dies); Danielle Hope (Les Miserables, The Wizard Of Oz); Kate Shindle (Wonderland, Legally Blonde); Ross Hunter (Rock Of Ages, Legally Blonde); Olivia Phillip (Ghost, Priscilla); Nick Adams (Priscilla, La Cage Aux Folles); Jos Slovick (Soho Cinders, Spring Awakening). Other characters will be played by members of the original Arts Ed cast.

The band is under the baton of West End musical director Mr. Michael Haslam.

Casting by Will Burton CDG for David Grindrod Associates.
