Kansas City Rep's A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL! Begins Rehearsals Tomorrow, 10/27

Rehearsals begin tomorrow, October 27, for Kansas City Repertory Theatre's highly anticipated world premiere of A Christmas Story, The Musical! 
 
The Rep's artistic director Eric Rosen will direct the cast of 20 actors (including eight children).  Principals of the show include veteran Broadway actors.  James Judy (The Scarlet Pimpernel) plays the story's originator and its narrator Jean Shepherd.  Ralphie is portrayed by Zachary Carter Sayle, fresh from the Broadway national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!.  His parents, referred to as "The Old Man" and "Mother", are played by John Bolton (Curtains, Spamalot) and Anne L. Nathan (Sunday in the Park with George, Thoroughly Modern Millie).  Ralphie's younger brother Randy will be played by Jake Siegfried.

Nathan (Mother), Kip Niven (Chorus), Zachary Rand (Grover Dill), Zachary Carter Sayle (Ralphie), Vanessa Severo (Chorus) and Jake Siegfried (Randy).

A Christmas Story, The Musical! runs November 20 through December 27 at Spencer Theatre in the James C.
