Audience members won't be the only ones hooting and howling at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 18, when Jungle Jack Hanna visits Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. St. Andrews Rd., Midland, MI. Presented by MATRIX: MIDLAND, Jungle Jack's live show features many of his favorite animal friends, as well as fascinating and humorous stories and video footage from his adventures around the world. A hand-held camera on stage and video screen will ensure that every seat has a great view. Tickets cost $22 for adults and $16 for students. Tickets are available online at www.mcfta.org or by calling 800-523-7649. This wildlife program is suitable for all ages (best for ages 5 and over) and is co-sponsored by Dow Corning Corporation.

Jungle Jack's hands-on approach and insight into the public's appreciation of wildlife conservation have won him widespread acclaim as director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, conservationist, author, television personality, and globetrotting lifelong adventurer. Recognized around the country as America's favorite zookeeper, Jack has made countless television appearances since 1983 on shows such as Good Morning America, CNN's Larry King Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Fox News programs and The Late Show with David Letterman. His own nationally syndicated television program, Into the Wild, won an Emmy in 2008 for Outstanding Children's Series. Into the Wild is unscripted and action-packed, as Jack and his family explore the corners of the globe to discover amazing animals and cultures.

Jack Hanna is proud to support a number of wildlife and humanitarian organizations including the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project, Partners in Conservation, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, Canine Companions, the Leukemia Society, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
