Fresh off the heels of her sold-out Violent Holiday Extravaganza, Julia Mattison will be joined by her Godspell friends once again for A Sexy Valentines Day Massacre! Featuring a collection of brand new twisted Valentines Day tunes, the concert is set for the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Monday, February 13th at 7pm. Expect to hear songs with titles like "Cupid is the Most Dangerous Baby", "Fired From Hallmark", and "Chocolate Boyfriend".
Set to perform alongside Mattison are members of her Godspell family, including Uzo Aduba (Coram Boy), Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby), Hannah Elless (Mamma Mia!), Morgan James (Wonderland, The Addams Family), Joaquina Kalukango (the upcoming Hurt Village), Eric Michael Krop (Rated RSO), Telly Leung (Rent, "Glee"), Corey Mach (Wicked), Hunter Parrish (Spring Awakening, "Weeds"), Anna Maria Perez de Tagle ("Hannah Montana," "Fame"), and George Salazar (Spring Awakening), as well as Michael Aarons, Shannon Ford, Sean Mahoney, Steve Millhouse, and Sydney Nikols. More guests are set to appear, as well as some special surprises.
This will be Mattison’s newest comedy rock show following her Violent Holiday Extravaganza, and Human Centipede: The Musical! which played at The Pit in June and was featured in Entertainment Weekly, New York Magazine, Huffington Post, and more, after becoming a viral hit on Youtube.
The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 West 42nd Street, in Manhattan.
