His name is Henry. When he came out as transgender, his parents rejected him. He found a support system in The Theater Offensive’s True Colors: Out Youth Theater troupe. When he performed a monologue about his gender transition for thousands of his peers in schools around Massachusetts, he helped himself and his community.

That empowering experience gave him the courage to come out to an important person in his life– his pastor. After he performed his monologue in her church office, she looked at him, tears streaming down her face, and said, "Henry, that’s a resurrection story."

True Colors is more than just a theater program. LGBT youth face life-threatening bigotry. True Colors helps them change it.

Join Henry at the Big Apple Circus on Tuesday April 28 to raise money for this one-of-a-kind program!

Just by purchasing a ticket or bidding on an auction item, you are helping LBGT youth find a place where they truly belong right now.
