By:

John Tartaglia, creator, producer and writer of the Drama Desk Award nominated Off-Broadway musical hit John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, and a star in the current Hollywood stage production of The Temperamentals, has announced a new session of his Master Class Intensive in Theatre and Television Puppetry. A world renowned puppeteer, Tartaglia has offered this course in New York and due to popular demand, will present it in West Hollywood, CA (Celebration Theatre, 7051 Santa Monica Blvd) on May 19 and 20 (1:00 PM to 5:00 PM).

Topics to be covered include: fundamentals, one-on-one training, group scene work, musical performances, special guests, and viewings of puppetry classics. The two-day Master Class is for beginners and experienced puppeteers. Tuition is $300.

To register for the class or for more information, visit www.johntartagliapuppetry.com, or email dan@imaginoceanthemusical.com.

John Tartaglia is best known for his Tony Award nominated role in the Broadway show Avenue Q; his acclaimed 12 years as the youngest puppeteer ever to work on Sesame Street; and for creating, producing and starring in Disney Channel's series Johnny and the Sprites, for which he received an Emmy Award nomination. He also starred recently on Broadway in Shrek The Musical, and in Beauty and The Beast.

His latest success is the innovative glow-in-the-dark musical John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, the Off-Broadway hit at New World Stages and in production at sea on several Royal Caribbean cruise ships. John is the creator, writer and producer of the show, along with voicing five of its main characters. ImaginOcean is an underwater theatrical experience like no other, featuring extraordinary puppets, memorable original songs, and a heartwarming journey about a trio of fish named Tank, Bubbles, and Dorsel.
