Tracy Letts' August: Osage County, winner of the 2008 Tony, Pulitzer Prize, Drama Desk, New York Drama Critics Circle, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Play, is proud to welcome Tony Award-nominee Johanna Day, in the role of "Barbara Fordham," and Michael Milligan, in the role of "Little Charles" to the Broadway company tonight Tuesday, October 14th.

Best known for her Tony and Lucille Lortel award nominated performance in David Auburn's Tony and Pulizter Prize-winning play Proof, Johanna Day most recently appeared in A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Lisa Peterson, at Hartford Stage. Her other notable theater credits include Edward Albee's Peter and Jerry (dir. Pam Mackinnon, Drama Desk Nomination), Ethan Coen's Almost an Evening (dir. Neil Pepe); The Evildoers by David Adjmi (dir. Rebecca Bayla Taichman) at Yale Rep., Leslie Ayvazian's Behave Yourself (dir. Martha Banta) at the Adirondack Theatre Festival; Distracted by Lisa Loomer (dir. Leonard Foglia) at the Mark Taper Forum; Noah Haidle's Vigils (dir. Kate Whoriskey) at the Goodman Theatre; The Rainmaker (dir. Lisa Peterson; Helen Hayes Award) at Arena Stage; Carol Mulroney by Stephen Belber (dir. Lisa Peterson); Satellites by Diana Son (dir. Michael Greif); How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel (dir. Mark Brokaw); Ellen McLaughlin's Helen (dir. Tony Kushner); Dare Clubb's Oedipus; An American Daughter by Wendy Wasserstein (dir. Molly Smith); Anthems by Culture Clash (dir. Charles Randolph-Wright; Craig Lucas' Three Postcards and Blue Window; Vick's Boy by Ben Bettenbender (dir. Bob Balaban). She has worked on many new plays at Cape Cod Theatre Project where she serves on the board. Her film and television credits include Judge Nancy Roth on Law & Order; Judging Amy (recurring); The Exonerated, Unbreakable, The Making of…, The Trap, and The Eternal Pedicure.

Making his Broadway debut, MICHAEL MILLIGAN has previously appeared Off-Broadway in Thom Pain and The Golem. Regionally, he has performed at the McCarter Theater, Westport Playhouse, Studio Arena, and Charlotte Rep. Michael has played Shakespeare for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Shakespeare Theatre (DC), Cincinnati Playhouse, St. Louis Rep. the Illinois, Alabama, Utah, New Jersey, Milwaukee, St. Louis, and Colorado Shakespeare festivals as well as Shakespeare and Company in many roles including Hamlet, Romeo, Mercutio, Feste in 12th Night, Mark Antony, Angelo in Measure for Measure, Cassio, Orlando, Dromio and Antipholus in Comedy of Errors, Costard, Lucentio, and many other lords, servants, spear carriers and shrub movers. Directed by Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award Winner Anna D. Shapiro, August: Osage County is the explosively funny comedy-drama focusing on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family's patriarch.
