Joey Calveri, who will be starring as Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages on Broadway starting in December, and his band, The Machine Elves, will headline the Hate the Hate Benefit Concert: Broadway Edition at The Highline Ballroom Sunday, November 25th at 7:30pm.

The Machine Elves and frontman Joey Calveri will perform songs from their debut album, Fancy Suits & Cigarettes, featuring special Broadway guest stars Rebecca Faulkenberry (Spiderman), MiG Ayesa (Rock of Ages/Rockstar INXS), Justin Matthew Sargent (Rock of Ages), Tessa Alves (Rock of Ages), Nick Cordero (Toxic Avenger), Ryan Link (Hair), and Jeremy Woodard (Rock of Ages). Doors open at 7:00pm with New York rock scene perennials She Said Fire, Midnight Mob, Seas of Wake, Beyond Visible, Ghosts of Eden & Mother. Hosted by Cisely Saldana, Juliya Chernetsky & Tyler Burrow.

Hate the Hate is the brainchild of promoter Tim Martinez of Brooklyn, known better as Tim No. 37. Calveri and Martinez bring together the downtown rock scene and Broadway community for this one night only event to benefit LGBT advocacy. Proceeds of the concert go The Trevor Project, The It Gets Better Project, and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Highline Ballroom 431 west 16th New York, NY 10011. Tickets available at the door for $18 or online for $15. http://highlineballroom.com/show/2012/11/25/machine-elves.
