Jet City Improv Counts Down to 20 Years
Wing-It Productions is pleased to announce the countdown to Jet City Improv's 20th Year Anniversary begins this May, 2011. Social media followers can expect weekly "blasts from the past"-video, photos and stories from the last 20 years.
The Countdown will culminate in a week long celebration in May of 2012.
In the last 20 years, Jet City Improv has grown from a small improv group to the largest improv theater on the west coast. The group had its first performance in 1992, at the Bite of Seattle. Since then it has grown into a comedy intuition for Seattle, and transformed Seattle into the premier improv city in the nation. In 1997 the Jet City Improv founders created Wing-It Productions, the company that produces Jet City Improv, and Twisted Flicks.
In its 20 years of operation Jet City Improv has employed 92 improvisers, and served over 500,000 audience members. It performs 156 shows a year at its home in the University District, in addition to away shows, outreach programs and adult education.
