Christy Altomare, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and More to Sing for Cutting-Edge Composers at Joe's Pub, 2/4

After sold out shows at the Canal Room, the Laurie Beechman, and NYMF, Cutting-Edge Composers will be at Joe's Pub on Monday, February 4th at 7:00pm at Joe's Pub in New York City. $25 tickets can be purchased at www.joespub.com.

Up-and-coming musical theater writers are teamed with Broadway's hottest performers in this concert series directed and produced by Laura Pietropinto (Next to Normal) and co-produced by Jillian Robbins with Musical Direction by Julie McBride.

Scheduled to perform are Christy Altomare (Mamma Mia!), two time Tony Award nominee Robin de Jesús (In The Heights, La Cage Aux Folles), Ali Ewoldt (LES MISERABLES), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Emma Hunton (Rent), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies), Zachary Prince (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever), Danny Quadrino (Bye Bye Birdie), Tanesha Ross (American Idol), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Lance Rubin, Jason SweetTooth Williams, Katie Thompson (Giant) and 2012 Tony Award nominee Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar).

Cutting-Edge Composers will feature songs from new musicals currently in development by Drew Fornarola & Scott Elmegreen, Marcy Heisler & Zina Goldrich, Joe Iconis, Lourdes Lane, Peter Lerman, Michael Kooman & Christopher Dimond, Virginia Hart Pike, Will Reynolds, Joshua Salzman & Ryan Cunningham, Charlie Sohne & Tim Rosser, Nathan Tysen & Chris Miller, Benjamin Velez & Katie Hathaway, and Zack Zadek.
