Jensen Ackles, one of Hollywood's rising leading men and the star of CW Network's Supernatural, has agreed to join Lou Diamond Phillips in the upcoming production of A Few Good Men, June 5 - 10, 2007 at Casa Mañana Theatre, announced Denton Yockey, Casa Mañana President and Executive Producer.

Jensen Ackles joins the cast as "Lt. Daniel Kaffee." Ackles is a native of Richardson, Texas. In addition to Supernatural, Ackles' other television credits include roles on Days Of Our Lives, for which he received the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer, Smallville, Dawson's Creek and Dark Angel.  Ackles recently completed a film project, Ten Inch Hero, which will premiere later this year.

Lou Diamond Phillips plays the role of "Colonel Nathan R. Jessep". Recently, Phillips starred in a Texas-produced independent film, El Cortez, which was featured at the Dallas' AFI Film Festival.  Well-known for his many film roles including Young Guns I & II, La Bamba, Stand And Deliver and Courage Under Fire, Phillips has also appeared in television shows Law & Order: SVU and Numbers. Phillips grew up in Corpus Christi and is a graduate of The University of Texas in Arlington.

A Few Good Men is the Broadway hit that sizzled on stage long before it was developed into a major motion picture.  Two Marines are charged in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay.  Their Navy appointed lawyer, a callow young man more interested in playing games than the case, expects a plea bargain and a cover up of what really happened.  Prodded by the members of his defense team, the lawyer eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial.  A Few Good Men is produced by Casa Mañana for an exclusive one-week-only engagement at Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth.

The performance schedule is: Tuesday, June 5 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, June 6 at 7:30pm; Thursday, June 7 at 7:30pm; Friday, June 8 at 8:00pm; Saturday, June 9 at 2:00pm and 8:00pm; and Sunday, June 10 at 2:00 & 7:00pm.

There is strong language and sexual references. Parental guidance is strongly recommended. Tickets for A Few Good Men are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Casa Mañana Theatre box office at 817-332-2272, or visiting the box office located at 3101 West Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth.  Ticket prices are $30 to $59, depending upon seating location and the performance dates and times.  For more information, go to www.casamanana.org.
