The producers of BILLY ELLIOT on Broadway announced today that Daniel Jenkins, Katherine McGrath and William Youmans will join the cast of the 10-time Tony Award winning Billy Elliot the Musical in the roles of ‘Dad,' ‘Grandma,' and ‘George,' respectively. Current ‘Dad,' Tony winner Gregory Jbara, ‘Grandma,' Tony nominee Carole Shelley and ‘George,' Joel Hatch will play their final performance Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 7:30pm. Jenkins', McGrath, and Youmans' first performance is scheduled for Tuesday, September 6 at 7:00pm.

Daniel Jenkins (Dad). Broadway: Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins, Cliff in Wrong Mountain, Josh in Big, Prior in Angels in America, Huck (1985) and Mark Twain (2005) in Big River. Recent Off-Broadway: Sex Lives of Our Parents, Benefactors, Love Child (written and performed with Robert Stanton). Recent regional: Blue Flower (ART), In the Footprint, (The Civilians/Arts Emerson). William Youmans (George). Broadway Original Casts: Wicked, Finian's Rainbow, Baz Luhrmann's La Boheme, The Farnsworth Invention, Pirate Queen, Titanic, Big River, The Little Foxes. Off Broadway: Road Show, Henry V (Delacorte), Coraline (MCC), Brundibar/Giraffe, The Widow Claire, Miracle Brothers. Billy Elliot the Musical, the show that Time Magazine called "The Best Musical of the Decade," currently stars Emily Skinner (Mrs. Wilkinson), Tony Award-winner Gregory Jbara (Dad), Tony nominee Carole Shelley (Grandma), Patrick Mulvey (Tony), Neil McCaffrey and Cameron Clifford (Michael) and Giuseppe Bausilio, Tade Biesinger, Joseph Harrington, and Peter Mazurowski as ‘Billy.'

Billy Elliot the Musical is the winner of ten 2009 Tony Awards including Best Musical features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry.

Billy Elliot is the joyous celebration of one boy's journey to make his dreams come true. Set in a small town, the story follows Billy as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, discovering a surprising talent that inspires his family and his whole community and changes his life forever.
