With his voice and an acoustic guitar for accompaniment, Gaines has earned a reputation as a master of live performance. His chart-topping rendition of Peter Gabriel's classic "In Your Eyes," complete with a roof-raising sing-along from the audience, was recorded on one special night in 2003, in his home city of Philadelphia.
