CBS announced today that it would not be renewing its Syndicated freshman series THE Jeff Probst SHOW for a second season.

"We believe Jeff is an incredible talent, and that he and his dedicated producing team delivered quality episodes throughout the season. Unfortunately, the audience isn't there to support a second year. We are grateful to the entire staff, our affiliate partners and advertisers for their ongoing support of The Jeff Probst Show," a CTD spokesperson said, according to Deadline.

"I'm super bummed but extremely proud," Probst said. "The truth is all shows come to an end. Ours just ended a decade sooner than we had hoped."

The news comes only a week after CBS pulled The Ricki Lake Show from its 2013-2014 daytime lineup.

The one-hour talk show covered topics ranging from relationships and family dynamics to newsmakers of the day to families and individuals facing challenges.

Hosted and executive produced by the Emmy Award-winning "Survivor" host Jeff Probst, THE Jeff Probst SHOW premiered September 10, 2012.
