Jeff Goldblum, Robin De Jesus, Mary Beth Peil & More to Join Laurie Metcalf in LCT's DOMESTICATED

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Producing Artistic Director André Bishop) has announced that Vanessa Aspillaga, Mia Barron, Robin De Jesus, Jeff Goldblum, Lizbeth MacKay, Emily Meade, Mary Beth Peil, Karen Pittman and Misha Seo will join Laurie Metcalf in the cast of DOMESTICATED, a new play by Bruce Norris, to be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, which will begin previews Thursday, October 10 at 8pm at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). Opening night is Monday, November 4 at 6:45pm. Additional casting for DOMESTICATED will be announced at a later date.

Bruce Norris' new play, commissioned by Lincoln Center Theater, is about politics and gender involving a husband and wife (to be played by Jeff Goldblum and Laurie Metcalf) whose marriage is upended when they become embroiled in a scandal.

DOMESTICATED will have sets by Todd Rosenthal, costumes by Jennifer Von Mayrhauser, lighting by James F. Ingalls and sound design by John Gromada.

Bruce Norris won the Tony Award, Pulitzer Prize for Drama as well as London's Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for his play Clybourne Park. His other works include A Parallelogram, The Unmentionables, The Pain and the Itch, We All Went Down To Amsterdam, Purple Heart, and The Infidel. His work has been produced at Playwrights Horizons, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre and the Philadelphia Theatre Company.

Anna D. Shapiro directed Bruce Norris' A Parallelogram, The Unmentionables, The Pain and the Itch, Purple Heart and The Infidel. Winner of the Tony Award for her direction of August: Osage County, her other NY credits include the Broadway production of The Motherfucker with the Hat.

DOMESTICATED will be performed Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. Please note: there will be no matinee on Saturday, October 12 and no performance on Tuesday, November 5. Tickets, priced from $75 to $85, will be available beginning Sunday, September 15 at the Lincoln Center Theater box office, at telecharge.com or by visiting www.lct.org.
