Jazz chanteuse Brenna Whitaker named Artist in Residence at Upright Cabaret 10/29-11/19
On Thurs, Oct 29 - Nov 19, 2009 at 9pm - Upright Cabaret presents Brenna Whitaker and her band as Upright Cabaret's Artist in Residence beginning Thurs, Oct 29 at Upright Cabaret on Vermont.
A rising star on the Los Angeles music scene and considered by many as a Peggy Lee for the 21st Century, Brenna Whitaker will perform (four) weekly concerts as Upright Cabaret Artist in Residence.
Over the last four months, Brenna has been performing weekly to sold out crowds with her own eight piece little big band at the Pasadena Jazz Institute where she performed with Michael Buble last July.
Come experience this diverse evening of song stylings that range from classic musical theater interpretations to big band show-stoppers to soulful timeless standards.
