The "2016 MTV Movie Awards," hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, airs on Sunday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT from outdoors on the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank, Calif.

His latest Broadway musical "Honeymoon In Vegas," starring Tony Danza and based on Andrew Bergman's film, followed a triumphant production at Paper Mill Playhouse. A film version of Jason's epochal Off-Broadway musical "The Last Five Years" was released in 2015, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan and directed by Richard LaGravenese, and a film of Jason's musical "13" is currently in development.Jason studied composition at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., with Samuel Adler, Christopher Rouse, and Joseph Schwantner.
