Roberta Nusim, president of Theatrical Marketing Associates, the co-producer of "James Barbour: The Holiday Concert," pioneered the concept of entertainment marketing in the United States in 1978 when, with Academy Award winning Kramer Vs.Kramer, she founded the nation's first company devoted exclusively to offering professionally prepared, entertainment marketing materials for schools and community groups. For Disney, Dreamworks, Warner Bros., Sony, Universal, Fox, IMAX, the BBC, HBO, TNT, NBC, The Cartoon Network, The History Channel, AMPAS and The Recording Industry Association, and many others, she has directed the development of over 500 programs for entertainment properties, including Glory, Elizabeth, Jane Eyre, Hamlet, the King and I, A Midsummer's Night Dream and most recently as a producer of the Broadway production of A Tale of Two Cities and Edward Zwick's powerful new film Defiance, starring Daniel Craig. Nusim also conceived and started the "Adopt a Class" Program which funds bringing inner city students to Broadway for their first theatrical experience. Her materials have won numerous awards and she has been invited to the White House to share her ideas on education with two administrations. A leading international expert on entertainment marketing, Nusim is the author of numerous articles and is a prominent guest speaker on the topic. Nusim is delighted to be part of the team bringing the incredibly talented James Barbour to Sardi's for an innovative series of fun holiday concerts "which are part of a fresh look at entertainment outreach and non-traditional approaches to today's audiences."
