JJ Lind Named Executive Director of THE CIVILIANS

The Civilians (Steven Cosson, Artistic Director), the New York-based investigative theater company, announces that JJ Lind has been named as its Executive Director, replacing outgoing Managing Director Marion Young. Ms. Young, who has overseen the organization for 4 years, is departing for Philadelphia where she will serve as Executive Director of Art-Reach starting September 4, 2012.

"We're thrilled to have JJ join our company particularly at this moment in our evolution," Artistic Director Cosson states. "Marion's leadership saw us through a significant expansion of our program and this past year she and I worked with our staff and Board to develop a plan for further development of our artistic capacity. JJ's strategic thinking and his proven accomplishments make him an ideal addition to our organization."
