JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR's Marcus Nance and Friends to Perform at Metropolitan Room, 4/23

Back on Broadway as Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Marcus Nance?s credits span all the musical genres including appearances at the Toronto and Ottawa Jazz Festivals, on Broadway in La Boheme and Jesus Christ Superstar, with New York City Opera, Chicago Opera Theatre, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the Shaw Festival and in various ?lms including The Producers and Beatrice Chancy.

Nance will be debuting at the Metropolitan Room in Marcus Nance and Friends where he will showcase the talents of Canadian Broadway stars Jeremy Kushnier and Bruce Dow, Canadian Idol winner Melissa O?Neil and American cabaret artist Tanya Holt. On piano will be the musical director of Broadway?s Jesus Christ Superstar Rick Fox and distinguished professor of music at NYU Grant Wenaus. The performance will also welcome bassist Jonas Tauber.
