Iron & Wine, The Mountain Goats and The Raveonettes Set For FUV Live 14

Noncommercial radio station WFUV (90.7 FM, wfuv.org) will release the 14th volume in its FUV Live CD series during its fall membership drive, beginning October 15. FUV Live 14features 20 songs by the likes of Black Joe Lewis, Edie Brickell, The Head and the Heart, k.d. lang and more, all recorded live in WFUV's Studio A. For the first time ever, WFUV is releasing an additional benefit CD this year to support The Alternate Side. Live From The Alternate Side is a 9-song CD that includes exclusive live performances by Art Brut, James Blake, The Raveonettes and more.

"FUV Live 14 and Live From The Alternate Side are like souvenirs for listeners of all our most memorable moments of the year," said WFUV Music Director Rita Houston. "The artists that passed through Studio A made us dance, laugh and bop our heads and it's great to get to relive those moments with these two CDs."

FUV Live 14 will be available with a contribution to the public radio station at www.wfuv.org throughout the membership drive and thereafter. Live From The Alternate Side will be available with a contribution to The Alternate Side at www.thealternateside.org, also beginning on October 15th.
