By:

Drew Brody/The Infinite Monkey Project is thrilled to present the 10-year anniversary production of the "absurdly hilarious" hit comedy, FLUFFY BUNNIES IN A FIELD OF DAISIES, written and directed by Matt Chaffee. FLUFFY BUNNIES IN A FIELD OF DAISIES will open on Thursday, June 7 and continue through Saturday, July 28 at The Arena Stage at Theatre of Arts, 1625 N Las Palmas Ave in Hollywood.

An upbeat comedy of sexual politics with strong women's roles, FLUFFY BUNNIES IN A FIELD OF DAISIES explores meeting, getting fixed up, and dating, as a group of friends undertakes the minute investigations of sexual interactions and categorizing of their experiences.

MATT CHAFFEE (Playwright/Director) A native New Englander, Matthew received his college degree in comprehensive mathematics. His next step was into a pair of Skechers for a national commercial campaign - auditioned for on a lark. The creative bug was thusly born and the move to Los Angeles ensued. In his time here, he has been involved in over forty theatrical productions, as an actor, director, and/or producer. On screen, or from your local video mailer program, you can see him the cult favorite Boondock Saints opposite Willem Dafoe and on various television re-runs. As a director/ producer, Matthew was the first ever to acquire the rights to the full volume of works by John Patrick Shanley at one time. The 20-play festival production saw Matthew performing in Four Dogs and a Bone and directing The Dreamer Examines His Pillow. As a writer, Matthew has penned nine screenplays. His first, Just Plain Fate was produced in 2000. Fluffy Bunnies in a Field of Daisies markEd Matthew's first and only foray into writing for the stage. The ensuing four-year on-again off-again production eventually landed in New York as a part of the International Fringe Festival, where the show was honored with Best Ensemble, Quality in Production, and Best of Fringe awards. Matthew is pleased to revive the show 10 years to the day of the original opening.
