In The Spotlight Series: Anne Hathaway

As the Christmas premiere of Tom Hooper's LES MISERABLES motion-picture adaptation approaches, BroadwayWorld brings you images of the film's stars in our 'In The Spotlight' series by acclaimed photographer Walter McBride. Check out photos of Anne Hathaway below!

Hathaway will appear as 'Fantine' in the LES MISERABLES film. In addition to hosting the Oscars in 2011 and appearing in Batman: The Dark Night, Anne Hathaway's film credits include 'The Princess Diaries,' 'Brokeback Mountain,' 'The Devil Wears Prada,' 'Becoming Jane,' 'Alice in Wonderland,' and 'Rachel Getting Married,' for which she was nominated for an Academy Award.

Hathaway played Viola in Shakespeare in the Park's 2009 production of TWELFTH NIGHT. She also appeared as Lili in CARNIVAL! at Encores, and was in some of the workshops for PROMISES, PROMISES.

As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Walter moved to Manhattan and for a leading role as a Photographer & Photo Researcher. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award.
