According to her official website, Idina Menzel will be performing at the Tilles Center in Greenvale, NY (Long Island) on March 28, 2009. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 12th. Menzel won a Tony Award for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway and also reprised her performance in London. Menzel played Amneris in Broadway's Aida, portrayed Kate in Andrew Lippa's off-Broadway musical The Wild Party and appeared in the City Center Encores! production of Hair, as well as in the Actors' Fund Benefit Concert of Funny Girl. Other film credits include Ask the Dust, starring Colin Farrell and Salma Hayek, and Enchanted.
