Tony Award-winner Idina Menzel will be fronting the Houston Symphony for a three-night-stand October 14, 15, and 16.  Tickets are on sale now via IdinaMenzel.com.

The singer will be performing a wide repertoire, including songs from musicals in which she's starred, a few numbers from her recurring role on Fox's hit television show Glee, and some cover tunes.  She has been touring the US more than a year, joining some of the nation's best symphony orchestras, including the Cincinnati Pops, New York Philharmonic, Boston Pops, and soon will be jetting across the Atlantic for an October 6 performance with the Royal Philharmonic in London.  Houston is Menzel's only Texas engagement in 2011.
