Their previous recording Stellar Jays has been called, "A masterpiece - a fascinating and fresh-sounding collection of tunes that incorporate the best elements of bluegrass and old-time into a killer new sound." (Nashville Public Radio)

"John Reischman and the Jaybirds are in their prime as contemporary bluegrass musicians capable of maintaining and extending the music's legacy," says Billboard.com.

Jaybirds front man and composer, John Reischman says of Icicle Creek Music Center, "We love visiting Icicle Creek. The acoustics of the facility (Canyon Wren Recital Hall), the natural beauty of the area, and the warmth of the community make it an inspiring place to perform."
