IN THE HEIGHTS Cast Members Teach One-Hour Master Dance Class 11/13

By:

Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce collaboration with STAGES Performing Arts Academy to present a one-hour Master Dance Class taught by In The Heights cast members Daniel Cruz & Kristina Fernandez. This unique opportunity to learn choreography from the show, taught by Broadway-caliber performers will take place on Friday, November 13 at the STAGES Performing Arts Academy, 444 Chesterfield Center in Chesterfield. Class is scheduled 4:45 - 5:45 p.m. A brief Q&A session will follow class, time permitting.

In the Heights, winner of 4 Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2008, welcomes you to the next chapter in the classic American story on stage. In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan's Washington Heights - a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. Currently on National Tour, the company is in residence in St. Louis November 10-22, playing the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

The Master Dance Class is open to anyone who wishes to register with some restrictions. Participants should be at intermediate to advanced dance skill level and must be at least 13 years of age. A small class fee applies.
