Disney's hotly anticipated big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's fairy tale-themed musical INTO THE WOODS looks like it will be adding some new material to what's already been shot in the form of a month of reshoots coming up according to a new social media post.
Production runner Steve Baldwin took to Instagram to share a shot of Shepperton Studios along with the comment, "Another day another dollar #studio #disney #intothewoods" quickly followed up by the comment, "A month of reshoots :)"

This news comes hot on the heels of recent outcry from some vocal fans following comments from Stephen Sondheim regarding the changes that have been made to the feature film, including the decision to not kill the character of Rapunzel, though it is unclear at this time what precisely what material the reshoots will specifically address.
The complete cast for INTO THE WOODS is as follows: Meryl Streep as The Witch, James Corden as The Baker, Emily Blunt as The Baker's Wife, Johnny Depp as The Wolf, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as Cinderella's Prince, Billy Magnussen as Rapunzel's Prince, Mackenzie Mauzy as Rapunzel, Lucy Punch as Lucinda, Tammy Blanchard as Florinda, Christine Baranski as Cinderella's Stepmother and Tracey Ullman as Jack's Mother, with Lilla Crawford as Little Red Riding Hood and Daniel Huttlestone as Jack, directed by Rob Marshall.
