THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has broken the house record of Broadway’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre for the 31st time. The show earned $1,590,235.00 for the week ending Sunday, April 8, in the 1,068-seat O’Neill, one of Broadway’s smallest theatres.
Also, Arthur Miller’s DEATH OF A SALESMAN broke the house record of the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47thStreet) for the third time, grossing $859,447.82 over seven performances for the week ending April 8, 2012. The strictly limited engagement opened on March 15, 2012.
