Friends such as Parker Posey, Joel Grey and Billy Stritch celebrated with a night of performances honoring Liza, one of theater's all-time greats. Recently promoted by Good Morning America, The New York Times, New York Magazine, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Chatroulette - the website that pairs random strangers for webcam-based conversations - has exploded on the internet and has gotten the attention of celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Perez Hilton and Joel McHale. Receiving an average of 500,000 viewers a day, Chatroulette allows visitors to video and text with another random visitor. At any point, either user may leave the current chat by initiating another random connection. The program was created by Andrey Ternovskiy, a 17-year-old high school student in Moscow. (more...)

Anand chose to propose to Erica at Come Fly Away specifically, as 4 1/2 years ago they had their first official date at Twyla Tharp's Movin' Out. 14) Goodspeed to Premiere BAND GEEKS!, RADIO GIRL et al. in 2010

Goodspeed Musicals, the only two-time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, has announced that they will produce three new musicals at The Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. Kicking off the season is Band Geeks!, the homegrown smash hit from Goodspeed's 2009 Festival of New Artists. This feel-good musical comedy will run from May 13 through June 6. The darling Radio Girl, based on the much loved classic Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, will charm audiences July 29 through August 22.
