GLEE Cast to Release Solo Albums Next with Lea Michele First?

Billboard is reporting this morning that while plans are already underway for the GLEE cast to do a concert tour of the country in the summer of 2010, that also part of Columbia Records deal with FOX is that the label has options to sign the cast members to solo deals, though they aren't immediately rushing to do this.

Josh Groban Planning Return to GLEE

Josh Groban has revealed to Access Hollywood that he'll be returning to GLEE to do one more episode. "I had a great time with that cast, coming from a theater background," he said. "It's so nIce To see so many theater actors being hired for mainstream television. And also, being a member of the choir club as a kid, just to see that group of people being represented in mainstream culture is really, really so great."

Glenn Close Writes About Mental Illness in Sunset Boulevard; Streetcar and Other Projects

Glenn Close, who won the 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series has penned a piece for the Huffington Post, entitled "Mental Illness: The Stigma of Silence" in which the actress writes about her many characters who have "deep psychological wounds" ranging from Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard to Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction and Blanche Dubious in A Streetcar Named Desire.

Audience members in the audience on Friday night at A Steady Rain have reported to BroadwayWorld.com that with Hugh Jackman acting as auctioneer, along with Daniel Craig, the pair auctioned off their undershirts for a total of $10,000 for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, with two matching $5,000 bids. Jackman did the same thing during his BOY FROM OZ days as part of BC/EFA's fundraising efforts.

The nationwide tour will kick off in Los Angeles, CA at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday, November 6th with a special event open to the public where fans will be treated with performances by several bands featured on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON soundtrack scheduled to include Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls, giving fans a brand-new way to experience the album. Faye Dunaway Reportedly to Begin Filming 'Master Class' This Week

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Faye Dunaway is set to start filming 'Master Class' in Detroit next week, as both the star and director of the movie. The paper reports that she's been in town for a month in pre-production and that reports of the movie having stalled were false. Dunaway has been trying to put together a feature film adaptation of the Tony-winning play "Master Class" for the past five years after previously starring in a 1997 tour.
