Tuesday, August 17:

LEE SCRATCH PERRY with Lionize. Doors at 7:00pm, Show at 9:00pm. Tickets are $25 adv, $30 at door.

Lee "Scratch" Perry (born Rainford Hugh Perry, on March 20, 1936, in Kendal, Jamaica) is a Grammy award-winning reggae and dub artist, who has been highly influential in the development and acceptance of reggae and dub music in Jamaica and overseas. He employs numerous pseudonyms, such as "Pipecock Jaxxon" and "The Upsetter". Arguably the first creatively driven, "artist-producer" in modern recorded music.

Thursday, August 19:

Highline Piano Series Presents: PAULA VALSTEIN with Jonah Smith, Casey Shea. Doors open at 6:00pm, show at 8:00pm. Ticket are $10 in advance, $15 at door.

THE JULIANA THEORY - Emotion is Dead 10 Year Anniversary Reunion & Farewell. Playing the Entire Album From Start to Finish; followed by a Second Set of Fan Favorites. This will be the band's first shows in almost 5 years & their last ever.

Highline Piano Series Presents: LEON RUSSELL Doors open at 6:00pm, show at 8:00pm. Tickets are $27.50 in advance, $32 at the door.

Leon Russell's long career includes collaborations with a virtual who's who of music icons spanning from Jerry Lee Lewis to Phil Spector to the Rolling Stones. 

Sunday, August 22:

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA with Miss May I, Your Demise. Doors open at 7:00pm, show at 8:00pm. Tickets are $15.

The Devil Wears Prada is a Christian metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio. They are currently signed to Rise Records and have hit the charts on Purevolume and Myspace as a Christian Metalcore band. The band has over 6 million plays on Myspace, and they are ranked 3rd among Christian artists.

Highline Ballroom is located at 431 West 16th Street between 9th Avenue and 10th Avenue. Tickets may be purchased through Ticketweb, online at ticketweb.com or at the Highline Box Office from noon until doors close at 866-468-7619. Highline is a full-scale restaurant. A $10 food and/or beverage minimum is standard for table seating during shows.
