Hartt Orchestras Conclude Season 5/4

Hartt Philharmonia and Sinfonia? perform their final concert of the 2012-2013 academic year on Saturday, May 4, at 7:30 PM??, under the direction of Maestro Edward Cumming, Director of Orchestral Activities at The Hartt School. The concert will take place at Lincoln Theater, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. Admission is $20, with discounts for seniors, students, and groups of 10 or more. The new program includes:? Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel Overture; Barber's Adagio for Strings; ?Brahms' Academic Festival Overture; and ?Shostakovich's Symphony No. 1. Conductors on this concert are Peter Lillpopp, Ena Shin, Kalena Bovell, and Edward Cumming.
