The public is invited to join Habitat for Humanity - New York City on Sat., Jan. 16, for its 11th Annual "Building on the Dream" salute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The free festive program is set for Sat., Jan. 16, 2 pm - 3:30 pm at PS 54 at 195 Sandford Street (between Willoughby Street & DeKalb Avenue) in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn The celebration includes:Keynote address by the Rev. Dr. Johnny Ray YoungbloodRousing music by the Brooklyn Steppers - Blackfire DrumlineSoul-stirring performances by PS 54 Gospel Choir and DancersInspirational speeches on Dr. King's legacyAnd much moreThe Jan. 16 program is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are required.
