Tonight was to mark the 100th performance of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, but BroadwayWorld has confirmed that tonight's performance was cancelled. After approximately an hour's delay, Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette told the audience that the performance would not be taking place, citing a "tragedy within the company."
Several reports (including The New York Times) outline an accident or medical emergency that occured backstage. The incident has been classified by some as a serious injury - however, the emphasis on these early reports should be on the fact that they're unsubstantiated as of yet.
A statement is expected shortly from the production, and more information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
