Ground Up and Rising Presents THE PILLOWMAN, 10/30-11/1
Ground Up and Rising presents a production of the Olivier and Tony Award winning The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh.
The Pillowman centers on a writer in an unnamed totalitarian state who is being interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a series of child murders. The result is an unflinching examination of the very nature and purpose of art.
The production is directed by Arturo Fernandez, and features Carlos Alayeto, Arnaldo Carmouze, Reiss Gaspard, Jennifer Lorenzo and Bechir Sylvain.
Tickets range in price from $10-$15 and can be purchased by calling 305-247-9406 or visiting artsouthhomestead.org. Tickets can be bought at the door with cash or check.
