Greg Germann and Missi Pyle To Join 'Boeing-Boeing' Starting 9/9

Beginning Tuesday, September 9, Greg Germann and Missi Pyle will join Christine Baranski, 2008 Tony Award Winner Mark Rylance, Gina Gershon, and Kathryn Hahn in the 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Play Revival, Boeing-Boeing, Marc Camoletti's classic sixties comedy of errors at Broadway's Longacre Theatre, directed by Matthew Warchus.  A new block of tickets has been put on sale through Sunday, January 4, 2009.  For tickets and information, visit Telecharge.com or BoeingOnBroadway.com.

In addition to his many years playing Richard Fish on the long running series "Ally McBeal," Greg Germann has also appeared in the films Talladega Nights, Friends with Money, and Sweet November, among many others.  Missi Pyle is best known for hilarious scene-stealing roles in such films as Bringing Down the House (memorably brawling with Queen Latifah); as "the deadliest woman on earth, Fran Stalinovskovichdavidovitchsky" in the hit comedy Dodgeball; and as the lovable alien Laliari in the comedy Galaxy Quest.

Boeing-Boeing won 2008 Tony Awards for Best Play Revival and Best Actor (Mark Rylance) and Drama Desk Awards for Best Play Revival and Best Actor (Rylance).  The show received four additional Tony nominations.

In Boeing-Boeing, an architect living in Paris (Germann) has been successfully juggling three flight attendant fiancées (Gershon, Hahn and Pyle) with his housekeeper (Baranski) reluctantly playing romantic air-traffic controller as they fly in and out of his swank bachelor pad.  But when an old school pal (Rylance) visits, things get rather turbulent.  Schedules change, flights are delayed and chaos ensues in this whirl of mayhem and matchmaking.

Flight Credentials

Greg Germann has performed at Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theatre, and Second Stage, among others, and has created roles in Stephen Sondheim's Assassins, Only You, Found a Peanut and many more.  Also in New York: member of Circle Repertory Company and Ensemble Studio Theatre, A Narrow Bed, Remedial English, Apocalyptic Butterflies, The Person I Once Was, Biloxi Blues, War Games, and more.  In Los Angeles, he appeared in David Mamet's Speed The Plow.  Regional theatre includes The Alliance, The Eugene O'Neill Festival, Hartford Stage, Yale Repertory, and The Seagull with Olympia Dukakis.  Film credits include Friends With Money, Talladega Nights, Sweet November, Down to Earth, Down and Derby, Once Around, Clear and Present Danger among others.  This fall he can be seen in the thriller Quarantined and the Disney animated feature Bolt with John Travolta.  Television: "Darrow" (American Playhouse); series regular on "In Case of Emergency," "Ally McBeal," "Ned and Stacy," "Sweet Justice."  He has directed for television and also wrote, directed, and appeared in the short film Pete's Garden shown in competition at the Sundance Film Festival.

Missi Pyle is making her Broadway debut.  Her many film credits include Galaxy Quest, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Dodgeball, Bringing Down the House, Big Fish, Along Came Polly, 50 First Dates, Anchorman, Harold and Kumar 2, Feast of Love.   Theatre credits include 900 Oneanta at Circle Rep, The Libertine at Steppenwolf Theatre, and Tom Noonan's Wang Dang off-Broadway.  Upcoming film: Spring Breakdown, Soccer Mom.  TV: "Boston Legal," "The Wedding Bells," "The Sarah Silverman Program," "Pushing Daisies," "Heroes."  Missi just recorded her debut album, It's OK To Be Happy, with bandmate Shawnee Smith.  Go to smithandpyle.com for details.  Missi is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts where she appeared in such productions as Cloud 9, Camino Real, Troilus and Cressida, Assassins, and The Three Musketeers.
