Stars of stage and screen will descend on London's legendary Cafe de Paris this weekend, for a bold fundraising event, which will see some of London's hottest performers get their kit off for charity.

Hosted by TVs top fashion guru, Gok Wan - more famous for his expert styling in dressing people up than showing them off nearly naked - the event, West End Bares, involves over 100 of theatreland's finest.

The unique production combines the naughtiness of burlesque with the razzle dazzle of the West End and will be staged across just two shows on Sunday night.

Billed "a night of fun, flesh and fashion" the performances are in aid of West End-based charity, The Make A Difference Trust.

The Trust funds projects to tackle poverty and ill-health in the UK and Africa, as well as providing hardship help to entertainers who've fallen on hard times due to sickness.

As part of the evening, all the main West End shows have been asked to customise a pair of boxer shorts for the Pants Project.

Themed creatively around their individual stage shows, from Shrek to Les Mis, Phantom to Legally Blonde, the uniquely decorated pants have also been signed by many of the respective casts including Amanda Holden, Nigel Lindsay, Michael Crawford and Sarah Lancashire.

After being paraded on the catwalk on Sunday night, the underwear will then be auctioned on E-Bay over ten days, from 5th September.

Sunday night's extravaganza will be co-hosted by TV and stage star; Sheridan Smith and an array of other celebrity guests will appear to their support. These include Little Britain phenomenon, Matt Lucas, currently starring in Les Miserables; Denise Welch, star of comedy hit Benidorm, Dancing on Ice's Matt Evers, chat show host Paul O' Grady, John Partridge and Natalie Casey.

Event: Sunday 4th September - Café de Paris - 21:30 & midnight
