Singer, songwriter and activist Gavin Creel (HAIRThoroughly Modern Millie) will step back onto the Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) stage for one-night-only, to celebrate the release of his brand new solo album Get Out on Monday, March 19.  Creel will play a 7:00 PM and a 9:30 PM, both sold-out.

But fans that aren't able to be at the show in person will be able to watch the 9:30 PM concert live via LiveStream (http://new.livestream.com/joespub/gavincreel), a first for Creel.   Other notable artists who have broadcast their shows live through Joe's Pub's website are Vanessa Carlton and The Civil Wars.

Get Out, which will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com beginning March 20, 2012, marks Creel's third independent release and first ever collaboration with songwriter and producer Ben Cullum.  Of the album, Creel says "I set out to make a record that was epic, loud and full of jams that'll blast us into the summer."

The album release comes on the heels of Creel's latest single, "Noise," released in December 2011 and co-written with songwriter Robbie Roth, to raise funds and support for marriage equality across the country. To promote the single, Creel and Roth, along with their friend and colleague, Newsies star Andrew Keenan-Bolger, created a groundbreaking new music video for "Noise," which tackles the entire history of the gay rights movement, and presents it as a pop-visual presentation.

For more information about the concerts, visit www.joespub.com or call 212-967-7555. Audience members with tickets to the 9:30 PM concert will be invited to stay for a post-show album release party. Tickets are $20.00 for the 7:00 PM and $30.00 for the 9:30 PM show and post-show party.
