Tony Award Nominee Gavin Creel (HAIR; Thoroughly Modern Millie) will step back onto the Joe's Pub stage for one-night-only to celebrate the debut of his brand new solo album Get Out, he announced from the stage of his sold-out Lincoln Center American Songbook Series concert. On Monday, March 19, the singer, actor and activist will play 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM concerts at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street). Audience members with tickets to the 9:30 PM concert will be invited to stay for a post-show album release party.

Get Out marks Creel's third independent release and first ever collaboration with songwriter and producer Ben Cullum. Of the album, Creel says "I set out to make a record that was epic, loud and full of jams that'll blast us into the summer."

The album release comes on the heels of Creel's latest single, "Noise," released in December 2011 and co-written with songwriter Robbie Roth, to raise funds and support for marriage equality across the country. To promote the single, Creel and Roth, along with their friend and colleague, Newsies star Andrew Keenan-Bolger, created a groundbreaking new music video for "Noise," which tackles the entire history of the gay rights movement, and presents it as a pop-visual presentation. Tickets for the Joe's Pub concerts will be available beginning Wednesday, February 8th at 4:00 PM at www.joespub.com or by phone at 212-967-7555 . Tickets are $20.00 for the 7:00 PM and $30.00 for the 9:30 PM show and post-show party.
