•InFusion Coffee & Tea Gallery - 7133 Germantown Ave in Mt. Airy
Dates: Sept 15 & 22, October 5 & 19 at 6pm

•Mugshots Coffee House & Cafe - 2100 Fairmount Avenue in Center City

Leading up to our world-premiere of CABINET OF WONDERS, AN IMPOSSIBLE HISTORY--a play about the untold family stories that reside underneath the one we regularly tell and what unravels when truth surfaces --Artistic Director Lisa Jo Epstein will lead this series of story circles in Mt Airy and Center City. Generating is a revival of a real life storytelling series that Gas & Electric Arts curated and hosted in 2007-08 with guest storytellers at the Tin Angel. For 2009, the series has been revised for intimate coffee house settings and will be open to anyone ready with a 10-minute story around the theme of un/told family secrets.

"We are each our own cabinet of wonders, with incredible stories inside us," Says Lisa Jo Epstein who will lead each story circle. "Some are hidden so deep within us that we're not sure they are still real, others are tales that surface more easily and which we recount regularly, constantly weaving in new elements with each retelling."
