"Glee" fans are going to have to wait an extra 30 minutes for the show's spring premiere, but with good reason.
Network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively "American Idol" will now run 90 minutes on Tuesday, April 13 with "Glee" airing at 9:30/8:30c. Said development means FOX will push into the 10:00/9:00c hour for the second time this year, the first being "24's" season opener in January.
"Glee" will then resume its regular Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c time period on April 20.

In other GLEE news, as BroadwayWorld previously reported, the cast of the FOX series hit GLEE is kicking off its live tour in May, with dates slated for Los Angeles, Chicago, Phoenix and New York. The tour has added a fourth New York City performance date at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, planned for Sunday, May 30 at 8PM.

GLEE Live in Concert will include performances of "Don't Stop Believin'," "Somebody to Love," "Jump," "Don't Rain on My Parade", "Sweet Caroline" and other hits from the past season.

Due to the success of the first installment of the show, which aired last on December 9, FOX has already ordered a second season of the show and announced that it will soon be launching a nationwide search to cast three new roles, which will be documented on the network in the multi-part special. These newest additions will make their debut on the second season premiere.
