GDIF 2013 Announces Full Programme
GDIF offers the ultimate summer festival experience with its completely free programme of astonishing outdoor arts. The 2013 fesival has just announced its full programme, and you can view it at www.festival.org.
This year GDIF set out to recapture the spirit of "togetherness" which was at the heart of the London 2012 experience. The festival team hopes that you'll feel uplifted and amazed by the huge range of performances and events on offer: whether it's the epic staging of As the World Tipped, our magnificent opening production at the National Maritime Museum; the artistry and passion of performers who you may recognise from last year's Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies in Graeae's new production The Limbless Knight: A Tale of Rights Reignited; or the flashmob exuberance and energy of our finale One Million, the Festival is all about opening up the senses and imagination.
