Tony Award Winning Actress Laura Benanti stopped by Sirus/XM's Live on Broadway show on Wednesday and discussed the fate of her upcoming NBC pilot, "Playboy Club".

"I'm a waitress who wears a tail", Benanti joked to host Seth Rudetsky when asked to describe her character. "I play Carol-Lynne, based on the first Playboy Bunny ever, Bonnie Jo Halpin and I become the Bunny Mother of all the girls. It takes place in 1963 at The Chicago Club."

Benanti revealed that on May 16th, a date which falls between her two upcoming engagements at Feinstein's, she will learn if the pilot will be picked up by the network. "So if you come to my show on May 1, I'll have glorious anticipation," quipped Benanti. "And if you come to my show on May 22, you'll either have to hold me while I cry or we can all celebrate together!"

Laura Benanti will be performing her show, "Let Me Entertain You" at Feinstein's on Sunday, May 1 and Sunday, May 22. For further information, please visit: feinsteinsattheregency.com/
