  America in the early 1900's – the Gilded Age. A time of rapture and
repression.  Inspired by the conflict of real-life characters: Ida
Craddock, a sexual educator ahead of her time ~ and Anthony Comstock, whose
mission was to uphold our country's family values.

IN MORDANT WHISPERS
A New Play by Robert Spencer Knotts
A searingly unsentimental look at the profound self-doubts that often
drive our behavior as individuals, usually without our knowledge. It
takes place during rehearsals for a new one-actor, multiple-character
play, a first theatrical effort by a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist. The
dark personal fears of the talented director, actor and author soon
trigger desperate problems ~ showing how we often damage our work, our
lives and the lives of others through a completely wrongheaded and
irrational lack of self-confidence. Importantly, it also demonstrates that we
don't need to be this way ~ we can overcome these hidden feelings if
only we will face them.

A LIKELY TALE
by Tao Strong-Stein
A one-act Fable is a Radio Play for the Stage! A  comedic take on the
13th Century Children's Crusade and the Wat Tyler Rebellion, as well as
the amazing techniques of old-time radio production. Suitable for all
ages, it is a one hour romp,  a fond look at the (19) Sixties and the
Merry Pranksters, and pokes good-natured fun at heroes and villains alike
in all ages.
