Fran Drescher Launches Benefit Contest Featuring NYC Trip & Backstage Tour of Broadway's CINDERELLA

Two-time Emmy and Golden Globe nominee and now Cinderella's stepmother Madame, Fran Drescher has announced a once-in-a-lifetime fundraiser experience to benefit her nonprofit foundation, the Cancer Schmancer Movement.

Cancer Schmancer is offering the chance to fly to New York City to join Fran Drescher backstage at the Broadway show Cinderella on May 27, 2014. Due to smashing reviews and sold-out performances, the show has just been extended by nearly two months, through June 8th, with its star-studded cast. The organization will set up one lucky winner and a guest with incredible seats for the show, a backstage meet-and-greet with Fran Drescher, and opportunities to take selfies with the entire Cinderella cast including multi-platinum recording artist, Carly Rae Jepsen.

Flights, hotel and a dinner for two at Fig & Olive will be included in the grand prize. Entering to win is easy - all it takes is a small donation to Cancer Schmancer through the Urgency Network.

"Get out there and share, like, hashtag, and tweet your way to the Big Apple!" Drescher said in a statement.

In addition to being eligible for the grand prize, each person who enters can receive some amazing guaranteed rewards with your donation as well. Donation rewards include exclusive campaign t-shirts, Broadway cast recordings, and a prop used in the production.

Cancer Schmancer's goal is to raise $50,000 to support its efforts to stop cancer before it starts. The organization's early detection Fran Vans offer free cancer screenings to women who do not have access to standard medical care. As Drescher says, "No woman should die due to late-stage diagnosis. Catch it on arrival, 90% survival."

Cancer Schmancer's Detox Your Home prevention program empowers people to stop chronic disease by making healthy lifestyle choices. Since 90% of cancers are caused by environmental factors, the program teaches you what those most dangerous toxins are and how to avoid them. This year, Cancer Schmancer begins implementing its Detox Your Home school assembly program nationwide, so that the next generation will be healthier than ever.
