Fountain Hills Theater to Present A CHORUS LINE, 1/13-29

By:

Fountain Hills Theater has announced the opening of one of the most popular musicals of all time, A Chorus Line. In an empty theatre, on a bare stage, casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. For 17 dancers, this audition is the chance of a lifetime. It's what they've worked for - with every drop of sweat, every hour of training, every day of their lives.

It's the one opportunity to do what they've always dreamed -- to have the chance to dance.  This is A Chorus Line, the musical for everyone who’s ever had a dream and put it all on the line.  Winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for drama, this singular sensation is the longest-running American Broadway musical ever. A Chorus Line features a wonderful score including ‘One’, ‘What I Did For Love’ and ‘Dance 10, Looks 3’.

A Chorus Line is produced by Patricia Tonzi and directed by Peter J. Hill. Musical direction by             Amy Powers and choreographed by Noel Irick.  A Chorus Line will play Jan 13-29, 2012.  Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 2PM.

A reception will be held on Opening Night for all those attending that evening, featuring free appetizers, wine and soft drinks. Individual tickets are $25.00 for Adults and $20.00 for children 17 and under. Seniors receive a $5.00 discount on all Thursday performances. Group rates and student rush discounts are available.

All performances are at Fountain Hills Theater on its Mainstage at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. (The Corner of Saguaro and Rand). Tickets are available through the Theater Box Office at (480) 837-9661 x3.  Box Office Hours are 10:00 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Visit our website at www.fhtaz.org.
